MACON, Ga. – Six Mercer women's cross country runners will compete in the 2017 NCAA South Regional at Harry Pritchett Running Park in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on Friday.

Ania Grzeszczak, Kimmie Whiting, Courtney Czerniak, Nidhi Shashidhara, Sarah Maitland and Marina Van Sickle will represent Mercer in the women's 6,000-meter race, which begins at 10 a.m. (ET). Four of the six Bears – Grzeszczak, Czerniak, Whiting and Van Sickle – ran at the Southern Conference Championships on Oct. 28 in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
