Mercer Hits the Road, At Campbell Friday

MACON, Ga. – After enjoying a five-game home stand, the Bears are on the road for the next four games, starting at Campbell on Friday at 5 p.m.

OUTSTANDING OFFENSE
Mercer, which has won three games by 10+ goals this season, leads the nation with 17.83 goals per game. Additionally, the Bears are averaging 27.83 points per game, which also ranks first nationally. With a scoring margin of +7.67 goals per game, the Bears are ranked third nationally and first in the ASUN.

Mercer's 37 points against Presbyterian ranks as the third most nationally in a single game this season. The Bears have scored 23 goals in two of their wins, which comes in at the fourth most in a single game this year.

With 20 goals and 20 assists, Lindsey Zeltwanger is leading Mercer in points (40) and assists. Kate Leone has scored a team-leading 21 goals, and Leone and Zeltwanger are narrowly trailed by Meghan Segreti and Erica Coyne with 17 goals apiece.

Zeltwanger leads the ASUN with in points and assists, while ranking second in goals. Leone Leads the ASUN and ranks 34th in total goals. Zeltwanger also leads the ASUN and ranks second nationly with 6.67 points per game, but she still leads the nation with 3.33 assists per game. With her 40 points, Zeltwanger has earned her third spot on Mercer's single-season point leaderboard and has her just three points out of fourth place. She currently holds the top two spots on the list.

The Bears have led in the draw circle in four of their six games, leading to an average of 15.50 draw controls per game. Mercer ranks seventh in the nation and second in the ASUN in draw controls per game.

Meghan Segreti ranks second in the ASUN and 19th nationally with 5.33 draw controls per game. With 32 draw controls this year, she ranks third in program history on the single-season leaderboard. Segreti, who is Mercer's career leader in draw controls, is 60 draw controls away from the 200th of her career.

Aided by its program-record 38 ground balls against Butler, Mercer leads the nation with 26.50 ground balls per game. The Bears' 38 ground balls also set a single-game high in the nation so far this season.

Reilly leads the Big South in points per game (4.00), assists and assists per game (1.83), while ranking 26th nationally in assists per game and 38th in both points per game and total assists.
