Bears Host Paladins in SoCon Faceoff Friday

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer women's soccer team will continue their Southern Conference campaign this Friday, Sept. 29, when they play host to the Furman Paladins beginning at 7 p.m.

SERIES HISTORY | LAST MEETING
Mercer trails the all-time series against the Paladins, 2-3-1. In 2016 when the two squads last met, the Bears defeated Furman 1-0 in Greenville, S.C.

The Paladins sit atop the SoCon table with a 2-0-0 conference record, blanking VMI and UNCG at home last weekend. Senior forward Molly Dwyer leads Furman with 17 points on the season, scoring seven goals and assisting on three. The Paladins' offense has been clicking on all cylinders this season, averaging 3.11 goals and 21.2 shots per match.
