QUOTABLES
"I was very happy with our performance tonight. We challenged our girls after the Marquette match to bring that type of energy to this match and they did. This is our first shutout in four games. We challenged them defensively and they responded. Offensively, we got one in early and I was proud of that; that allowed us to put some pressure on them. We got the win and it was well deserved."
—Head Coach Tony Economopolous
NEXT MATCH
• The Bears return to action when they host Alabama A&M on Sunday, Sept. 10, beginning at 2 p.m. at Bear Field.
