Mercer Cheer to Host Alumni Homecoming Event

Cheerleading program welcoming all former members on Nov. 3
MACON, Ga. – The Mercer University cheerleading program will host an Alumni Homecoming event on Nov. 3 for all former cheerleaders and to raise money for upcoming national competitions.
The event will coincide with the football team's Homecoming game against ETSU at 3 p.m. at Five Star Stadium. The Alumni Homecoming event will start with a tailgate lunch at 11:45 a.m. (extends until roughly 2 p.m.). Those interested in cheering during the football game will meet on the field at 2:15 p.m. for warm up, pregame and cheering during the first quarter.
Cost for the event is $40 and will include a T-shirt, lunch and entrance to the football game. If interested in attending the alumni event, please complete the sign-up form. Further questions can be directed to Mercer cheer coach Bobbie Proffitt at cheer@mercer.edu or (478) 447-0974.
