Mercer Set to Host Presbyterian After Month-Long Road-Swing

MACON, Ga. – Mercer will host Presbyterian on Sunday, March 11 at 1 p.m. after month-long road-swing away from Five Star Stadium.

The Bears split their away games, going 2-0 against east coast foes and falling (0-2) to the west coast. The game against Presbyterian will begin a three-game home-swing for the Bears (2-3).

SERIES HISTORY
Mercer walks into Sunday with a 2-1 overall record against Presbyterian. The teams have met the past three consecutive years, with the Bears falling in their first matchup and winning the past two. Mercer dominated with a 23-13 victory at Clinton last season.

Kate Leone leads the SoCon in goals averaging 3.00 per game and totaling 15 for the season, and shots per game (5.60). Leone ranks third in points per game recording 3.60. The Bear also is tied for 41^st in the NCAA for her shots on goals per game (5.00).
Leone was named the SoCon Offensive Player of the Week (Feb. 27-March 6) after her performances against Gardner-Webb and Davidson. Leone marked a season-high five goals in both games and has also recorded 4-4 (1.000) free position for the season.
Lindsey Zeltwanger is tied for 30^th in the NCAA and ranks second in the SoCon in assists per game (2.00). The Bear is tied for 28^th in total assists for the season, logging 10 assists in five games. Zeltwanger and is also tied for third in points per game (3.60) with teammate Leone. The two are also tied for second in free position goals per game (0.80).
Audrey Robertson and Zeltwanger are tied for third in the SoCon for caused turnovers averaging 1.60 per game.
Iseabal Cryne is tied for 43^rd in the NCAA and ranks second in the SoCon for ground balls totaling 15 for the season and averaging 3.00 per game.

SCOUTING PRESBYTERIAN
Presbyterian is 1-5 after most recently falling 2-22 to San Diego State on March 5. The Blue Hose's only defeat has been against SoCon foe, Wofford, where they won 14-12 (Feb. 24).

Sarah Marshall leads the team with six goals and Kelly Hyman follows with six total points (three goals, three assists. Kathleen Gerrits leads the team in draw controls recording 10 for the season. Kayla Koch defends the pipes, making 38 saves for the season registering a .362 save percentage. Lee-Ann Salim has shared time as goalkeeper, recording 106:26 minutes for the season.
