Men’s Tennis Set to Face Stetson Saturday Afternoon

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer Bears' men's tennis team will return to action, hosting Stetson this Saturday, March 10, beginning at 11 a.m. Mercer's match with Presbyterian, originally scheduled for Sunday, March 11, has been canceled.

Scouting the Hatters
Stetson enters Saturday's matchup currently riding a four-match winning streak, and holding an impressive 9-2 overall record. The Hatters most recently topped Valparaiso, 5-2, at home this past Wednesday (3/7/18). Stetson finished second in the Atlantic Sun last season, with an outstanding 14-6 overall mark. The Hatters are led by their lone senior, Loic Blanco, who is 9-2 on the year at the No. 3 singles position. Christophe Noblet is in his second year at the helm for the Hatters.

The Bears open Southern Conference play by hosting Chattanooga on Tuesday, March 13. The match will be held at the LeRoy Peddy Tennis Center, with a start time of 2:30 p.m.
