Bears Look to Bounce Back at UNCG Tuesday

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer Bears' men's tennis team will head to Greensboro, N.C. to face the UNCG Spartans this Tuesday, April 3 at the UNCG Tennis Courts.

Scouting the Spartans
UNCG enters Tuesday's matchup holding a 7-8 overall record with a 1-2 conference mark. In their most recent outing this past Saturday, the Spartans dropped a 6-1 decision to Davidson at the UNCG Tennis Courts. UNCG is led by senior Connor Thompson who has tallied an 11-3 record at the No. 1 singles slot this season and is currently riding an eight match winning streak. The last time Mercer faced the Spartans (3/26/17), the Bears were victorious, taking a 4-3 decision. Jeff Trivette is serving in his 18^th season at the helm of the UNCG tennis program.

The Bears will return home to play host to The Citadel Bulldogs this Saturday, April 7. Play is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
