Mercer targets first home win of 2018 campaign

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer Men's Soccer team will play host to in-state opponent, Georgia Southern, tomorrow evening at 7 p.m. The contest will feature a pair of rivals at 7 p.m. at Betts Stadium in Macon, Ga. The Bears are 5-2-2, including 0-1-1 when playing at Betts Stadium. Georgia Southern enters the match with a 3-3-1 mark on the season, including 2-1-1 on the road.

Georgia Southern most recently dropped a 2-1 decision to ETSU on Sept. 22. The Eagles are led by Javier Carbonell with nine goals and two assists (20 points). Carbonell ranks third in the nation in goals and fourth in total points. Adam Davie is the only other Georgia Southern goal scorer this season with four.
