Courville and Roquebert are competing at the ITA Regional

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Mary Courville and Maeva Roquebert of the Mercer women's tennis team opened up play at the ITA Southeast Regional on Friday.

Courville and Roquebert opened with doubles action. In the round of 32, Courville and Roquebert faced off against Achong and Cadar of Miami, who were the fourth seed in the draw. The team of Achong and Cadar defeated Courville and Roquebert, 8-3.

Roquebert was the first Bear to play in singles action when she opened up against Domenika Turkovic of UCF. In a highly contest match, Turkovic edged Roquebert, 6-4, 7-5, to advance in the main draw.

Later in the day, Courville took to the court for her singles match against Nandini Das of Florida State. Das defeated Courville, 6-1, 6-0,

Courville and Roquebert will now be competing in the consolation draw.
