Bears continue fall in Murfreesboro

MACON, Ga. – Mercer men's golf travels to Murfreesboro, Tennessee, this weekend to compete in Middle Tennessee's The Grove Intercollegiate tournament at Greg Norman's The Grove course.

The Bears are paired with Troy, Lamar and Francis Marion and will tee things off on holes 1-5 at 10 a.m. (ET). Spencer Ball, Tyler Copp, Lino Galdin, Martin Plukka and Kiko Rosete will get things going on holes 1A, 1B, 3, 4 and 5, respectively.

COACH KAYDEN'S TAKE
"The guys are coming off of a good week of practice and we are ready to play," said head men's golf coach Kirk Kayden. "We had some very good scores this week in qualifying from Martin (Plukka) and Lino (Galdin). The golf course will set up well for our team after a strong week of practicing tee shots. We are playing in a solid field once again; however, I am confident that we will have a good finish."
