Bears Head to Chattanooga for Last Regular Season Road Match

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer Bears volleyball squad will head to Chattanooga, Tenn. to go toe to toe with the Chattanooga Mocs Wednesday night at 6 p.m.

SERIES HISTORY
Chattanooga leads the all-time series against Mercer. The last meeting was back on October 9 in Macon, the Bears took the match in straight sets.

NOTABLES

Mercer is ranked in the top five for hitting percentage, blocks, and service aces in the SoCon.
Sophomore Annie Karle leads the team in three categories: points (326.5), kills (277), and service ace (36).
The last match against the Mocs, Brittany Major recorded 15 kills, tying her season high previously set in the match against Campbell.
Nya Steele recorded 44 assists against Chattanooga, her third highest of the season behind her 49 assists against New Orleans and 48 against Furman.

SCOUTING THE MOCS
Chattanooga is coming off a 2-3 loss against ETSU on Saturday. The Mocs are 0-11 in the Southern Conference. Sophomore Gylian Finch is leading the team with 238 kills. The Mocs are coached by Travis Filar, who enters his sixth season as head coach.
