Bears, Hawkeyes Set to Clash in NCAA First Round

No. 15-seeded Mercer will tip off against No. 2 Iowa at 2 p.m. (ET) Friday
IOWA CITY, Iowa – Mercer will face No. 2-seeded Iowa in the first round of the 2019 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament at 1 p.m. (CT)/2 p.m. (ET) on Friday at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

The afternoon contest will be aired regionally on ESPN2 in the Middle Georgia area and the state of Iowa. Those without access to the ESPN2 coverage can tune into the game using the Watch ESPN app or via the Mercer Sports Network, where "Voice of the Bears" Rick Cameron will have the call.
The winner of the first-round clash will advance to the second round and will play the winner of No. 7 Missouri (23-10) and No. 10 Drake (27-6) on Sunday, March 24 in Iowa City at a time yet to be determined.
