Mercer looks for first win of the season
MACON, Ga. – Mercer men's lacrosse continues its Southern Conference play by traveling to face VMI in Lexington, Va. on Saturday, March 23 at noon. The Bears are still looking for their first win of the season. Live stats will be provided for tomorrow's game.

SERIES HISTORY
The Bears lead the Keydets 6-2 in the overall series history. Mercer defeated VMI last season when the Orange and Black walked away with the 15-7 win for the first time in history.
ABOUT THE BEARS
Mercer has gone defeated in non-conference action this season, dropping close games to Canisius, Delaware and Mount St. Mary's (Md.). The Bears dropped their opening Southern Conference matchup against Air Force, 20-8 last weekend. The Orange and Black look to Michael Quinn to continue leading the offense adding more goals to the 12 already garnered this season. Ashton Wood leads the circle notching 45-98 face offs and 20 ground balls. Josh Tarver defends the pipes with 80 saves this season and a .508 save percentage.
SCOUTING VMI
VMI walks into its third conference game of the season 0-3, falling to Richmond (17-4) and High Point (18-9). John Daniel leads the Keydets with 13 goals for the season. Benjamin Stump defends the pipes, registering a .55 save percentage including 81 total saves.
