Mercer will take on the Chanticleers on Friday
MACON, Ga. – Mercer will close out its road schedule by facing Coastal Carolina in a nonconference match in Conway, S.C. on Friday at 4 p.m. The contest will have live stats provided.

Mercer has never defeated Coastal Carolina in four head-to-head meetings dating back to the 2016 season. The former ASUN Conference foes have played one another at least once in each of the last three seasons, including twice in the 2017 campaign. The Bears most recently fell to the Chanticleers at home last season, 17-7.

Coastal Carolina heads into Friday with an 8-4 overall record. The Chanticleers defeated Campbell earlier this season, 16-4, while the Bears fell to the Camels 13-10 on March 3. - Despite owning a SoCon-best three conference wins, the Bears are coming off their first league loss of the season to Furman last Sunday. The Paladins walked away with the 13-11 victory.
- Freshman Hailey Rhatigan and senior Audrey Robertson were named the SoCon Offensive and Defensive Players of the Month for March.
- Rhatigan currently leads the SoCon in free position goals per game (0.77), goals (46) and goals per game (3.54) and is second nationally in shots per game (9.31) as well in shots on goal per game (6.62).
- Robertson leads the league and ranks third nationally in caused turnovers per game (3.23) and has 42 total on the season. She is tenth nationally in ground balls per game (3.38) as well.
- Mercer leads the conference in goals per game (13.54), shots per game (33.54), shots on goal per game (23.15), caused turnovers per game (11.85) goals against average (11.77) clearing percentage (.824) and ground balls per game (22.38).
- Eva Thorn leads the Bears with 14 assists and the league in free position percentage (.692)
- Iseabal Cryne ranks 38th nationally in saves (116) and saves per game (8.92). The sophomore leads the league in goals-against average (12.23) and save percentage (.441).
- Michaela Lucas leads the Bears in draw controls, averaging 3.85 per game.
