Madison Mueller sets 400-meter hurdle school record

ROME, Ga. – Mercer senior Madison Mueller broke her own 400-meter hurdles school record at the Berry Field Day Invitational at Valhalla Stadium on Saturday.

Mueller, who finished second in the 400-meter hurdles event, finished with a record-setting time of 1:02.07. The mark also puts her atop the Southern Conference standings in the event.

The 4x400-meter relay team of Mueller, Cherrish Wright, Kennedi Weston-Shields and Tessola Duncan won the event with a time of 3:53.41. Wright additionally won the 100-meter dash in 12.11 seconds while Weston-Shields won the 400-meter dash in 58.35 seconds. Ashley McMahon completed the 3000-meter steeplechase in a first-place time of 11:30.38 minutes.

The Berry Field Day Invitational was Mercer's final regular season meet.
