Bears shine in 200-meter, 4x400-meter events

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Mercer women's track and field team broke a pair of school records at the 2019 Pepsi Florida Relays this weekend at Percy Beard Track.

Sophomore Cherrish Wright ran the 200-meter dash in 24.61 seconds to set a new school record and the Bears' 4x400 meter relay team set another program mark with a 3:49.83-finish. Mercer also competed in the 1500-meter run, 4x100-meter relay and 1600 sprint medley.
