The Bears take the match against Austin Peay
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.  – Mercer women's soccer squad defeated Austin Peay Friday night 1-0 in Clarksville, Tennessee to improve their record 2-1-0.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
Junior Ally Fordham scored the only goal of the night in the 49th minute unassisted to record her second goal of the season. That goal would help goalkeeper Jordyn Ebert who stopped all shots on goal.
 
The Bears came out and stayed strong in the second half, shutting the Governors out and kepping them to only four shots.

The Bears will travel back to Macon to take on Davidson Sunday, Sept. 1 at 2 p.m. in Betts Stadium.
