Lily Morin is a member of the Mercer women’s lacrosse team
MACON, Ga. – Throughout the months of April and May, Mercer University athletics will feature each of the seniors who wore the Black & Orange during the shortened spring 2020 season.
The NCAA has indicated that spring sports seniors could receive an extra season of eligibility and return, as the 2020 spring season would have been their final year of competition, all student-athletes representing Bears baseball, softball, men's golf, women's golf, men's tennis, women's tennis, men's lacrosse, women's lacrosse, beach volleyball and track and field will receive their "Senior Day" this spring.

The senior day spotlight continues with women's lacrosse's Lily Morin.
About Morin
Lily Morin, a Marietta, Ga., native, was a four-year midfielder for the Bears. During her career, she saw action in 64 games, earning a start in 35, and playing in all but 2 games in her career.
Â
Morin registered 39 goals, 20 assists, and totaled 59 points in her career. She took 111 shots with 75 of those on cage for a 35% shooting average. She registered a career-high four goals against the Bears first win against Campbell this season.

As a midfielder she earned 86 ground balls 37 caused turnovers and 81 draw controls. During her junior year, she recorded her career best 48 draw controls. Her 48 draw controls ranks eighth in the single season record books. In 2019, she was one of Mercer's complete players, starting 18 of 20 games. Â Â

In 2018, Morin earned a spot on the All-SoCon Academic Team, Academic Honor Roll, and SoCon All-Tournament Team. She helped the Bears to back-to-back Southern Conference Championships in 2018 and 2019.

Coach's Thoughts
"A captain this year and one of our starting midfielders and a true two-way midfielder. She is a hard worker in practice and in all conditioning sessions. Lily improved so much in her four years here! I'm hoping she is able to return to play next year!"
