SCOUTING THE BEARS
The Bears went 0-0-2 in their last two matchups and scored three goals. Ally Fordham scored the Bear's two goals against VMI from a PK and header assisted by Ciara Whitely. Following, five days later, sophomore Jordan Lynn scored a PK against The Citadel. MU dominated that match in possession and shots on goal. However, after the clock expired on a pair of 10-minute overtime periods, the Bears left that match at Betts with a 1-1 draw. MU's most recent win against the Paladins was in 2019 with a 2-0 triumph at home in Macon. Furthermore, Ally Fordham (7 goals) leads the Bears in scoring while she is also first in goals as well as game-winning goals scored by any active roster player within the SoCon.
Â
SCOUTING THE PALADINS
Furman is 8-5-1 overall and 4-3 in the SoCon. They are coming off a winning weekend while hosting both VMI and UNCG. Furman's Nieva Gaither scored three goals on the weekend. Kyndal Anderson, scored the match-winner against VMI in the 87th minute. The same two were the culprits for Furman's pair of goals scored against UNCG on the 17th. Â
SCOUTING THE TERRIERS
Wofford is 5-11 overall and 3-4 in the SoCon. They too are coming off a winning weekend while hosting both VMI and UNCG. They were interchangeable games with Furman. Wofford's goals against VMI were scored by Leanna Guion, Mia Bookhard, and Savannah Vathy.
