Mercer finishes 7th out of 15

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Tobias Jonnson and Jay Spivey finished in the top 10 of the Grandover Collegiate, helping the Bears place 7^th overall.

Jonnson (3) fired three rounds of 69 while Spivey (T9) recorded one even round and two rounds under par. Jonnson's first round included six birdies with four birdies in his final eight holes. In the second round, Jonsson totaled five birdies and three in the third. Spivey's first round featured four birdies and his third included five. Jonathan Parker shot a first round under par with five birdies.

Davidson College finished first with a team total of 848 (-16). UNCG's, Nick Lyerly placed first with a final of 202 (-14).

Mercer will return to play in February at the Advance Golf Partners Collegiate. The Bears will play 18 holes daily, February 13^th-15^th.
