The Bears will honor their four seniors prior to the match

Macon, Ga. – The Mercer men's soccer team is set to host the Wofford Terriers on Saturday at Betts Stadium with kickoff slated for 2 p.m. Prior to the match, the Bears will honor their four seniors: Jake Rehak, Kareve Richards, Leo Toledo Jr. and JR DeRose.

Series History | Last Meeting
Mercer is 13-3-1 all-time against Wofford. The last meeting between the Bears and Terriers was on November 8, 2019, in the quarterfinals of the Southern Conference Tournament. The Bears came out on top with a 3-0 victory thanks to goals from Trevor Martineau, Michael Ille, and Dylan Gaither.

Notables

The Bears will honor seniors Jake Rehak, Kareve Richards, Leo Toledo Jr. and JR DeRose prior to the contest.
Toledo Jr. was recognized as one of 30 candidates for the Senior C.L.A.S.S. Award on Wednesday.
Midfielder Dylan Gaither is tied for the Southern Conference lead in points with 10 this season on four goals and two assists.
Forward Dawson Gideon picked up two goals against VMI bringing his goals total to four on the season. He ranks second in the Southern Conference in goals scored.
Ricardo Packer Jr. picked up his first goal of the season against VMI with a near-post rocket to bring his points to three for the season.
Derose ranks first in the Southern Conference in minutes played with 847 minutes tallied so far this season.

Scouting the Terriers
Wofford is 0-5-0 this season, including an 0-2-0 mark in SoCon play. Some Terriers to keep an eye on in their attacking third are sophomores Adrian Roseth and Brandon Oddy who lead the team with two goals apiece. Roseth leads the team in points with five courtesy of goals against Davidson and ETSU and an assist versus High Point. Oddy's goals have come against South Carolina and Davidson. In goal, the Terriers have started freshman Emil Larsen in four of the five matches this season. He has played a total of 360 minutes making 14 saves.
