Bears and Owls meet for sixth time
MACON, Ga. – The Mercer women's lacrosse team will travel up I-75 for an in-state battle against rival Kennesaw State on Tuesday at 3 p.m.

This is the sixth meeting between the Bears and the Owls. Mercer has a 4-1 lead on the series.

ABOUT THE BEARS
Mercer is coming off a 21-3 win over Delaware State on Thursday. Hailey Rhatigan scored three goals against Delaware State, becoming the fifth player in program history and the second in SoCon, to reach the milestone. Rhatigan and Lily Morin led the team with three goals in the game each. With Morin's three goals, she grows her led on the team with 18 goals this season. With Iseabal Cryne's third win over Delaware State, she is now five wins away from becoming the most winingest goalie in program history. Sophomore Ainsley Malamala sits at the top of the team in caused turnovers. She has caused seven this season so far. Maddi Koury has dished out 13 assists this season. She ranks fourth in the nation among freshman for the most assists. Erin Degnan now leads the team in draw controls with 18 on the season. Kayla Soltys follows her with 15.

SCOUTING KENNESAW STATE
Kennesaw State is coming off a 19-7 win over Delaware State on Saturday. Midfielder Marissa Gore led the Owls with four goals, two assists, seven groundballs, and two caused turnovers in the game. Three of Gore's goals came off of free-position shots. Gore, along with Hannah Barth had two draw controls on the day. Goalie Julia Weiss earned the start between the pipes for the Owls. She allowed seven goals and had one save. Erin Crowe saw seven minutes in the cage. During her time, she stopped one ball. Siena Gore leads the team with 45 goals on the season. Head Coach Laura Maness enters her fifth season at the helm of the Owls.
