Mercer returns to SoCon play on Thursday
MACON, Ga. – The Mercer women's tennis team returns to Southern Conference action on Thursday when they travel to Greenville, S.C. to face Furman. The match is set to start at 3 p.m.

Scouting the Paladins
Furman enters the match ranked No. 32 in the ITA tennis rankings and has a record of 17-6 overall and perfect 5-0 mark in Southern Conference play. The Paladins have won eight consecutive matches and are 8-2 when playing on their home court.
 
The Paladins are led by Katarina Kozarov, who is ranked as the ninth best singles player in Division 1. She is currently 18-1 and has won her last seven matches. Furman is 22-1 in No. 1 singles play this season.
 
The only other player to play No. 1 singles this season is Julia Adams. Adams is ranked 104th in singles play. She is 16-6 overall and a perfect 4-0 at No. 1 singles. She is 12-6 in the No. 2 position.
