Bafutto played in five contests in 2020-21, all off the bench, and totaled 10 points. In the regular season finale at Western Carolina, made both of his shot attempts and pulled down a defensive rebound in seven minutes. He averaged 2.0 points and 1.2 rebounds per game as a redshirt junior.
