Bears to travel up I-75, take on Kennesaw State
MACON, Ga. – After splitting their first two against Pac-12 schools, Mercer will venture away from the comfort of Five Star Stadium to play in-state foe, Kennesaw State, on Sunday afternoon.

SERIES HISTORY
This will be the eighth meeting between the Bears and Owls, with Mercer holding the 6-1 series lead. Since dropping the first meeting in April 2015 in Kennesaw, Mercer has taken all of them since. Maddi Koury, Shannon Urey and Hailey Rhatigan combined for 10 goals in a 18-9 Mercer win in Five Star Stadium last year.
SCOUTING MERCER
Rhatigan – the reigning Big South Offensive Player of the Week – tallied 11 points on six goals and five assists last week against the Ducks and Trojans. Urey leads the Bears with seven goals scored. In the cage, Iseabal Cryne tallied 31 saves – which included a career-high of 19 against USC – in the first two.
SCOUTING KENNESAW STATE
KSU comes in with a 2-1 mark with the lone loss coming on the road to seventh-ranked Florida, while they knocked off Oregon and Winthrop at home.  In their last time out, three Owls - Siena Gore, McKenzie Jackson and Chesslyn Lamar – notched four points in their 14-8 win over Winthrop. Julia Weiss has stopped 17 shots while in goal through three games.
