Mercer falls 6-1 to No. 15 Georgia

ATHENS, Ga. -- Back in action, Mercer dropped its match to 15th-ranked Georgia at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex in Athens.

The homestanding Bulldogs took the doubles point behind straight-set wins by the 60th and 41st-ranked duos.

Samuel Barrow claimed a straight-set win - 6-3, 6-4 - over Miguel Perez Pena. Samuel Macleod took 79th-ranked Trent Bryde the distance, eventually falling 6-4, 1-6, 11-9 in three sets.

The four remaining matches included the Nos. 22nd, 47th, 76th and 79th ranked student-athletes.
