Mercer Tennis gives back to local community with clinic

MACON, Ga. - Kicking off National Tennis Month, two graduate assistants - Andres Alcaraz and Andrea Garcia - spent the day with the community sharing the sport they love.

The pair spent two hours teaching the game and helping hone skills to Macon youth at the Randy Stephens Tennis Center.

The United States Tennis Association (USTA) designates National Tennis Month to bring awareness and "help bring new players into local programs, inspire lapsed players to pick the sport back up and energize existing players to play more."
