Get First Shutout Of Season
The Bears got three goals each from Kendall Cook and Sydney Farr. Along with the two hat tricks, Mercer (4-1-1) got goals from Lana Whitfield, Nicole Icen and Ciara Whitely. The Bears are 4-0-0 at home as South Carolina State remains winless (0-7-0) on the season.
Goalkeepers Lindsay Bell and Belle Martinez each played a half, to split the first shutout of the season by the Bears.
