Friday's game will be the 27th all-time meeting between the two teams. Mercer the series 15-6-5. Mercer won last season's meeting in Johnson City, Tennessee by the final of 2-0. ETSU has just one win over the last eight meetings with the Bears.
LAST TIME OUT
Morganne Eikelbarner scored a team high tying sixth goal of the season, but Mercer couldn't hold on to a one goal lead in a 2-1 loss to defending Southern Conference champion Western Carolina Sunday afternoon from Betts Stadium.

ETSU is 7-2-2 on the season and is 3-1-1 on the road. The Bucs were picked to finish seventh in the Preseason SoCon Coaches Poll.
ETSU has won each of it's first two conference games to start the season. The Bucs won both games by one goal, defeating The Citadel on the road, 2-1 and UNCG 1-0 at home.

The expected starting goalie for the Bucs is redshirt sophomore Addison Yelton who owns a 0.71 goals against average and a .708 save percentage.
