MACON, Ga. – The Mercer women's lacrosse team welcomes Davidson to Five Star Stadium in the Bears' home opener, Sunday at 1 p.m.

SERIES HISTORY
Sunday's game will be the third all-time meeting between Mercer and Davidson. The two teams have split the first two meetings, with the visiting team winning each game.
LAST TIME OUT
The Mercer women's lacrosse team defeated Virginia Tech 11-8 for an emphatic season opening win and claimed its first ever win over an ACC program.
Mercer was excellent in draw controls, with 15 to Virginia Tech's 8. Lyndsey Lewis had nine of Mercer's 15 controls.Â
Senior Shannon Urey led the Bears offensively with four goals. Chloe Schaeffer had four points and Maddi Koury had three assists.Â
Defensively Carmella Fischer had three ground balls and three caused turnovers.
