Maddi Koury Named Big South Offensive Player Of The Week

MACON, Ga. - Mercer women's lacrosse player Maddi Koury was named Big South Offensive Player of the Week for the week of March 6-12 as announced by the league office Tuesday afternoon.

Last week, in a 2-0 week for the Bears, Koury tallied eight goals and two assists for 10 points.

In a 19-7 win at George Washington, Koury had 3 goals and one assist. Last Sunday against Manhattan, she had a career-high five goals to lead the Bears. She also added an assist.

Koury's eight goals last week came on just eight shots over the two games for a perfect 1.000 shots on goal percentage. Through the first five games this season, Koury leads the Bears with 21 points (10 G, 11 A).
