Bears Travel to Gulf Shores for March to May Tournament

MACON, Ga. – The Bears will Travel to Gulf Shores, Alabama to compete in the March to May tournament hosted by the University of Alabama Birmingham. The Bears will battle against many top 25 team and look to compete against them like they did in the Day of Duals.

The Bears will take on the No.5 Loyola Marymount, on Saturday, March 18 at 12:00 P.M. Later that same day, the Bears will take on No. 6 LSU at 5:00 P.M. Mercer will close the tournament on Sunday, March 19, facing No. 20 South Carolina at 9:00 A.M, followed by a match-up against No. 19 Tulane at 11:00 A.M. The Bears will end their weekend with a match against the host UAB on Sunday at 2:00 P.M.

SATURDAY BEAR NECESSITIES
Date: Saturday, March 18
Time: 12 p.m. & 5 p.m.
Opponents: Loyola Marymount University and Louisiana State University

SUNDAY BEAR NECESSITIES
Date: Sunday, Feb. 25
Time: 9 a.m., 11 a.m., & 2:00 p.m.
Opponents: University of South Carolina, Tulane University and UAB

The Bears would capture two wins against No.20 Coastal Carolina
Nicole O'Mara and Kate Hardie would win their match in two straight sets.
Sydney Benson and Jordyn Thomas-Warren would bring home Mercer's second win over Coastal in three sets.
Jordan Paddock and Lexi Polychrones would take No.4 FSU into three sets during their first match of the day.
