ATLANTA, Ga. - The Mercer track and field team opened its 2023 outdoor season at the Yellow Jacket Invitational hosted by Georgia Tech on Friday and Saturday.

Numerous Mercer freshman made their track and field debuts for the Bears. Tara Davis had one of Mercer's best results of the event as she finished ninth in the women's 400m with a time of 57.95.
