Raggs and Browne Among Top Performers For Mercer At UCF Knights Invite

Raggs had top 5 time in program history in 400m hurdles and Browne set a PR in 100m dash

ORLANDO, Fla. - The short distance runners for the Mercer track and field team competed over the weekend at the UCF Knights Invite in Orlando, Florida.

Sophomore Ariel Raggs and senior Bianca Browne highlighted the two day meet for the Bears.

In the 400m hurdles, Raggs finished eighth with a time of 1:03.54, which is good for the fifth best time in the event in school history. Raggs owns the school record in the event with a time of 1:00.36 which she set as a freshman last year in the SoCon Championships.

Browne set a personal record in the 100m dash with a time of 12.08, just outside the top 10 times in school history. Browne's time placed her 10th out of 47 runners in the event.
