MACON, Ga. -Â The Mercer track and field team is set to compete at the UAB Spring Invite on Saturday, April 1.

The first event that the Bears will compete in on Saturday is the 4x100m Relay at 1 p.m.
LAST TIME OUT
Mercer track and field competed at two different events last weekend in the UCF Knights Invite and the Don McGarey Invite. At the UCF Invite sophomore Ariel Raggs and senior Bianca Browne highlighted the two day meet for the Bears.
In the 400m hurdles, Raggs finished eighth with a time of 1:03.54, which is good for the fifth best time in the event in school history. Raggs owns the school record in the event with a time of 1:00.36 which she set as a freshman last year in the SoCon Championships.
Browne set a personal record in the 100m dash with a time of 12.08, just outside the top 10 times in school history. Browne's time placed her 10th out of 47 runners in the event.
The distance runners competed at the Don McGarey Invite where junior Brianna Teegarden set a personal record and the eighth best time in program history in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 11:33.23. Teegarden's time was good for second place in the event.
