Mercer Travels to Atlanta For Day of Duals Tournament

MACON, Ga. – Mercer will travel to Atlanta, Georgia to compete in the Day of Duals hosted by Georgia State. The Bears look to get back on track following UNF's Duuuuval Duals last weekend in Jacksonville, Florida.

The Bears will take on Florida State University in an early afternoon matchup, on Wednesday, March 8 at 12:00 P.M. Later that day, the Bears will take on Coastal Carolina at 2:00 P.M. Mercer will close the tournament on Wednesday evening playing the host Georgia State at 6 P.M.

Sydney Benson and Jordyn Thomas-Warren won their match against Jacksonville University. This is their second victory as a pair this season.
Reese Hood and Kathryn Corbett would bring Mercer its second win of the tournament when they defeated Coastal Carolina's Gonzalez and Ryan in two straight sets.
Three Mercer pairs took Coastal Carolina to an extra set.
