MACON, Ga. – The Mercer women's tennis program will round out the regular season schedule with two road matches this week against Furman and UNCG.

RECENT ACTIONÂ
The Bears closed out the home schedule with a non-conference win over Alabama State, 4-0, after suffering a tough 6-1 defeat to ETSU.
Teodora Ristic and Mary Courville went 2-0 last week, defeating ETSU 6-3 and ASU 6-1. These wins brought their record to 12-7, 3-1 together at the first doubles slot. Courville defeated both singles opponents on court two and is at a 13-6, 4-0 record.
SCOUTING FURMAN
The Paladins have defeated all five SoCon opponents so far this season: UNCG, Western Carolina, Wofford, Chattanooga, and Samford.Â
Jess Dawson and Sara Snyder have played at the first doubles slot for a majority of the season and are at a 10-8, 5-0 record together. Marissa Pennings and Ellie Schulson have played at the second slot, going 7-9, 3-2 with Madison Dillon and Luca Victoria Vocke at the third slot going 8-5, 2-2.Â
Schulson has played on court one in singles for most of the season, going 6-11, 5-0. Pennings is 6-12, 2-3 this season at the second singles slot and Snyder is 9-7, 3-2 and has played at multiple singles slots. Dawson is 7-10, 3-2 so far and Dillon is 13-6, 5-0, and both have played at multiple slots. Vocke is 8-5, 4-0 at the fifth and sixth slots and won both matches last week.Â
SCOUTING UNCG
Unlike Furman, the Spartans have lost all five SoCon matches so far: Furman, ETSU, Wofford, Western Carolina, and Chattanooga.Â
Hanna Giddings and Olivia Gallagher have played at the first doubles slot most consistently and are 6-7, 0-2 together. Court two for doubles has been up in the air as to who has competed, but Arina Babkova and Raegan Mitchell have played the most, going 1-4, 0-1. Court three is similar to the second slot, but Alexandra Dodashev and McCollough Perry are 1-3, 0-1 together.Â
Giddings recently started playing at the first singles slot and is 4-9, 1-4 with Gallagher going 0-5, 0-5 on court two. Mitchell is 8-5, 1-3 this season and just played her first match at the third singles slot, losing 7-5, 7-5. Dodashev played at the fourth slot last week and is 5-12, 1-3 this season while Luna Urso is 4-12, 0-4 this season playing at the fifth singles slot. Craft played at the sixth singles slot and is at a 2-9, 1-4 record so far.Â
