Head coach Ryan Danehy secured his third ASUN win of the season in a 9-8 game against Robert Morris last Saturday, April 1. The Bears move to 4-7 on the season and 3-2 in ASUN Conference play.
Six Bears scored on the afternoon. Senior Attackman Carl Klepper led the way for the Bears with three goals. Junior Midfield Matt O'Connor had two goals on the afternoon. Senior Attackman Parker Junod, Junior attackman Jack Parolin, Senior midfielder Kyle Cox, and junior attackman Taylor Dooley each added a goal for the Bears.

Cleveland State is led by Andy German who is entering his fourth season as head coach for the Vikings. The Vikings are currently 3-5 and 1-3 in ASUN conference play. They have had wins over St. Bonaventure, Lindenwood, and Canisius.
The Vikings return 35 players from the 2022 season, and they welcomed 14 new freshmen. The Vikings current leading point score is sophomore midfielder Gannon Matthews with 29 points (14 goals, 15 assists). Behind Matthews is senior attackman Brendan Sigurdson with 20 points (11 goals, 9 assists). The Vikings third leading point scorer is senior attackman Ryan Haigh with 15 points (12 goals, 3 assists).
