LAST TIME OUT
Six different Mercer players scored and the Bears picked up their third clean sheet in four games this season in a resounding 9-0 win over Alabama Sate at home last Sunday.
Mercer scored seven of its nine goals in the second half and held Alabama State without a shot on goal in the first half. Goals for the Bears were scored by Jada Moorman (2), Lana Whitfield (2), Larkin Thomason (2), Sara Engels (1), Kendall Cook (1), and Jordan Lynn (1).
Mercer outshot Alabama State 33-3, including a 22-2 advantage in shots on goal.

College of Charleston enters the match looking for its first win of the season with a 0-2-1 overall record. The Cougars are members of the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA).
Last season College of Charleston finished 8-7-4 overall and 2-4-3 in conference play. The Cougars were much better at home than away as they went 7-3-1 at their home field, Ralph Lundy Field. The Cougars won just one game away with a 1-4-2 away record.
This season, College of Charleston has allowed exactly two goals to its opponent in all three games. They have scored a combined two goals this season, both coming in a season-opening 2-2Â draw against USC-Upstate.
