MACON, Ga. -Â Sunday will feature a matchup of two undefeated teams as No. 7 Alabama comes to Macon to take on the Bears at 2 p.m. from Betts Stadium.

The Mercer women's soccer team won in resounding fashion last Thursday at Gardner-Webb by a final of 4-0.
Forwards Jada Moorman and Larkin Thomason each had two goals on the night bringing their season totals to a conference best seven goals.
Freshman Anna Bachman had two assists on the night and Chandler-Lewis Jenkins, Elizabeth Hargis, and Lena Dykes all had an assist.
SCOUTING ALABAMA
Alabama enters the game undefeated (5-0-4)Â and ranked seventh in the country. The United Soccer Coaches has the Crimson Tide ranked as the No. 1 team in the Southeast Region, followed by the likes of South Carolina and Arkansas.
Alabama had an historic season in 2022 as they finished with a 23-3-1 overall record, winning the SEC with a perfect 10-0 record and advancing to the College Cup where their season ended to eventual national champion UCLA in the semifinals.
This season the Crimson Tide are undefeated through nine games and have played three ranked teams, No. 17 Memphis, No. 3 North Carolina, and No. 23 Georgia. Alabama went 1-0-2 against those three ranked opponents.
The Tide have one of the stingiest defenses in the country, as they have allowed just four goals in nine games so far this season. Lipscomb is the only unranked team to score a goal on Alabama this season.
Alabama has scored 12 goals this season for an average of 1.33 goals per game. The Crimson Tide's leading goal scorer is sophomore forward Gianna Paul who has six of Alabama's 12 goals this season. No one else on the team has more than two goals on the year.
