Men's Basketball Announces 2023-24 Schedule

MACON -- The Bears' men's basketball schedule for the 2023-24 season includes 16 home games and 15 road games for the regular season, including the Emerald Coast Classic in Destin, Florida. over Thanksgiving and a trip to Tuscaloosa to face the defending SEC champions Alabama.
Two weeks after the matchup with the Crimson Tide, Mercer will travel two hours north to face their second Power 5 opponent of the season at Georgia on December 1. Conference play will begin on Jananuary 3 at ETSU at Freedom Hall in Johnson City, and the first home conference game will be one week later when the Bears host Wofford on January 10.
The season officially opens on November 6 vs. Clarke Atlanta in Macon at Hawkins Arena. The team will have a six-game home stretch from December 6 to December 29.
Following the final conference matchup at Furman on March 2, the SoCon Tournament will begin on March 7 at Harrah's Cherokee Center in Asheville, N.C.
