ATLANTA, Ga. - Emilia Cosatto defeated Tina Li from Florida State in her singles match on Friday in Atlanta, to advance to the second round.
Cosatto defeated Li in three sets, 6-4, 2-6, 6-0 to move on to the second round. Marina de Diego Quinones dropped her match to UCF's Jade Psonka, 6-3, 6-3.
Cosatto will now play Georgia's Guillermina Grant in the second round on Saturday.
