Bears Prepare For Midseason Conference Challenge

MACON – After a strong showing in the sand last weekend, beach volleyball is back in action at the Sun Belt Mid-Year Weekend tournament in Huntsville, Ala.

The Bears will face Louisiana Monroe Friday at 11:30 a.m., before facing in-state foe Georgia State at 5:45 p.m. On Saturday, Mercer will take on Coastal Carolina at 11:30 a.m., before wrapping up the event at 3:15 p.m. against Southern Miss.

As the Bears enter the midway point of their season, they sit above .500 for the first time since 2017, thanks to a clean sweep at the Bears Beach Bash, which saw four pairings go undefeated.
