MACON, Ga. - The Mercer women's tennis team returns to SoCon play on Friday as the Bears visit the Wofford Terriers. The match is scheduled to start at 3 p.m. from the Reeves Tennis Center in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Friday's match will be the 12th all-time meeting between the schools. Mercer is 3-8 all-time against Wofford. The two teams met last season in Macon with Mercer winning 5-2.

Teodora Ristic enters the match leading the Bears with a 12-3 singles record. Tea Zivic and Mariella Minetti will look to avenge their first doubles loss of the season in last week's loss to ETSU.

Wofford enters Friday's match with an 11-6 overall record and 1-3 record in SoCon matches. Wofford's last complete match was a close 4-3 loss to Samford. The Terriers' lone conference win was a 5-2 win at Chattanooga.

Junior Breda Brendan owns the best singles record for Wofford at 13-4. She has won each of her last four matches.
