Bears Travel To UAB For Final Test Before Conference Tourney

MACON – In their final test before the Sun Belt Championship, beach volleyball heads to Birmingham for the Blazer Beach Bash hosted by UAB.

The Bears will face conference rival Southern Miss Saturday at 9:00 a.m., before taking on North Alabama at 1:00 p.m. Mercer will conclude the event Sunday against the Blazers at 11:00 a.m.

This will be the third meeting between the Bears and Southern Miss this season, splitting a pair of 3-2 decisions with the Golden Eagles. The Bears will face UAB for a second time, after defeating the Blazers 3-2 at the North Florida Invite. Despite a 9-9 record at neutral sites, Mercer will look to earn its first win on the home court of UAB.
