Mercer leads the all-time series 3-2-1. The teams last met in 2022 in Troy, Alabama with Troy winning 1-0.

LAST TIME OUT
The Mercer women's soccer team won comfortably by the final of 9-0 in its home opener over Berry Monday night from Betts Stadium. Mercer's nine goals marks the fifth consecutive season the Bears have scored at least nine goals in a game.

Four different Mercer players scored their first career goal as a Bear and for three of those players it was the first goal of their collegiate career.

SCOUTING TROY
Last season, Troy finished with a 6-10-2 overall record and went 1-7-2 in conference play in the Sun Belt.

The Trojans won their season opener at home against Eastern Washington, 2-1. Thursday's game will be the first away game of the season for Troy. Troy had 16 shots in its game against Eastern Washington with nine of them coming from players who were not on the team last season.

In 18 games last season Troy scored 21 goals and allowed 26. Troy's leading returning goal scorer from a season ago is fifth-year senior midfielder Gabrielle Chartier who scored seven goals last season.
