Mercer Visits Wofford Saturday Night

SERIES HISTORY
Saturday's game will be the 61st all-time meeting between Mercer and Wofford. Wofford leads the all-time series, 34-26, and the Terriers have won five straight meetings as well.

LAST TIME OUT
Ahmad Robinson scored a career high 29 points, but a Samford free throw with less than one second on the clock gave the Bulldogs a 75-74 win over the Bears Wednesday night from Hawkins Arena.

Robinson caused problems for Samford's defense all night on his way to 29 points including 12-14 from the free throw line and added nine rebounds, four assists and five steals on the night.

NEED TO KNOW
Saturday's game features the top two leading rebounders in the SoCon in Wofford's Kyler Filewich (10.3 rpg) and Mercer's Alex Holt (7.8 rpg).

SCOUTING WOFFORD
Wofford enters Wednesday's game with an 9-9 record, including a 3-2 mark in conference play. The Terriers are coming off a close 83-81 overtime loss at Chattanooga on Wednesday night.

Wofford had won three straight conference games before its overtime loss at Chattanooga.

Through five conference games, Wofford is fourth in the conference in scoring at 77.2 points per game and sixth in scoring defense at 72.0 points per game. The Terriers have been a good rebounding team in conference play as they are tied with Mercer in rebounds per game at 39.2.

Wofford's leading scorer is senior guard Corey Tripp who is averaging 13.2 points per game. Senior center Kyler Filewich leads the SoCon with 10.3 rebounds per game.
