Bears Prepared To Host Linger Longer Invitational

GREENSBORO, Ga. – The Mercer men's golf team begins a big week on Sunday, hosting the Linger Longer Invitational. The three-day event features a 16-team field, including five teams ranked inside the top 50 in the country.

The Bears return to the course after finishing fifth at the Palmetto Intercollegiate last week. Nathan Trodd turned in a season-low round of 65 in round two to secure a top-five finish, while Trey Mixon also enjoyed a solid showing by placing 13^th.

Seven Bears will compete in the event, as Trodd and Mixon are joined by Henry Robards, J.T. Herman and Jacob Uyesato in the Mercer lineup, while Ryan Curran and Cole Hanson will compete as individuals.
