Bears Finish Stitch Intercollegiate

RALEIGH, N.C. – After day one was filled with rain delays, the Mercer men's golf team completed the final 27 holes of the Stitch Intercollegiate on Saturday, finishing 11th as a team.

Cole Hanson and Nathan Trodd turned in the low scores for the Bears, tying for 14th at two-over. Hanson carded a three-over 68 in round two for the team's lowest round of the event.

Lipscomb took the team victory, shooting one-under to finish three strokes ahead of UNCG. Michael Vick of NC State secured the individual title at five-under.
